Present and Future Exhibits

The title Embed provides the impetus for this body of work as I address life enveloped in a throw away culture.

My work can best be described as existing on a continuum: functional to sculptural. The content is sometimes issued based, occasionally autobiographical, and increasingly allegorical. I hand build and throw on the wheel, altering and combining forms.

I combine my love of throwing on the potter’s wheel with my interest in creating sculptural form. My intent is often to create objects that balance the dual purposes of functionality and sculptural formalities. Conceptually these works toggle between both disciplines.
