For some basic reason I don't know, ceramics fits my personality. Ceramics probably has the most potential for expression as any of the mediums.I am not only interested in clay for pottery. Clay interests me as a structural medium, a high temperature medium, and certainly as an art medium.
Clay has ancient roots. Beginning pottery was essentially a containing medium for water, food and oil.
I've been potting for 60 years now. My interest at this point is pottery as art.
