When I first sat at a Potters wheel it was as if someone had turned on a light inside of me. Learning to use this fascinating tactile material with it's endless possibilities for form was and continues to be a profound experience. I throw high fired functional pieces designed for daily use and I construct wall pieces which represent a stylized interpretation of nature. I continue to explore new firing techniques, forms and patterns; and I am still in total awe of clay!
