My pieces start as a vague sketch that emerges only duringÊ interaction with the clay: it's potential and limitations.Geological formations are the basis of my inspiration. I translate the sculptural elements in nature into my personal sense of mass, contour, volume and space. Success is measured by the enjoyment a viewer experiences in the contemplation of the object.
